Red carpet looks for those special occasions

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is a very special post. It’s our first collaboration with renowned fashion and lifestyle blogger Ananya Kiran from Ananya Tales. She is also a You Tuber! Check out her channel here.

I think there is a princess in every girl’s heart who rears her head out every now and then and want to wear flowy gowns and make heads turn 😀 Doesn’t your heart flutter when you see lace, nets and lengths of fabric gathered together? We had our little Red Carpet moment when Ananya suggested this theme.

We have together created several looks to satiate your inner star! Ananya shared with us three awesome looks. (Click on her pictures to see full post)

The true red carpet look and quite literally. My personal favorite of all, this dress is a stunner! The dress hugs at all the right places and there are subtle crystals on the dress, what’s not to love :). As red dress is a statement in itself, she kept accessories minimal with just watch and danglers.

This look is great for one’s own engagement and cocktail parties. Fusion look of Indian embroidery on the western gown silhouette is unique and perfect for Indian brides.

A peach ballroom gown is all you need for the next cocktail party. You can never go wrong with a classic tube gown with a color as gorgeous as this one! A bold neckpiece and round earrings complete her look.
We wanted to make most of this opportunity to showcase different looks to you guys. Here’s our take on the red carpet look.

Radhika looked gorgeous in this coral pink gown. The gathers in front add a princess-like touch and lace on top and sleeve make it more contemporary. The fact that it has one sleeve (that too lace!) is the x-factor of this look. There is crystal work on the side to add just the right amount of bling. It’s perfect for Indian functions too.

I chose gown with bold prints that are bound to make statement. Fit for cocktails, the gown has a sensuous feel owing to Satin fabric. I love details that lend exclusivity to my dresses and this bow (in check print) added just the right amount of cuteness 🙂 To complement the tube neckline, like Ananya, I too wore a chunky neck-piece.

(Also, in case you did not notice, the shoot happened in my bedroom and you can see my engagement in background :D)

Hope you enjoyed this post as much as we did shooting and planning it! A special thanks to Ananya for getting us together for this 🙂
