Deborah Milano Dress Me Perfect Foundation Review, Price and Swatches and availability online
Today I am going to review the new foundation by Deborah Milano, Dress Me Perfect. It comes in seven shades: Ivory (00), Fair Rose (0), Fair (01), Beige (02), Sand (03), Apricot (04) and Amber (05). It is available online at various leading websites such as Jabong.
Dress Me Perfect by Deborah Milano fits skin like a tailor-made garment, perfectly matching the wearer’s skin tone. The fluid feather-light consistency simply melts into skin, evening out the complexion and erasing imperfections, creating smooth skin and keeping it looking beautifully natural. Formulated with soft-focus microspheres, the foundation floats on easily, abolishing shine without going cakey.
But here’s what really sets Dress Me Perfect apart: Skin Oxygenating DH Complex, a substance that allows skin to breathe as if oxygenated from within. The result is dewy, luminous skin. Dress Me Perfect by Deborah Milano contains micronized waxes for all-day medium coverage. SPF 15.
Price: INR850 for 30 ml
Dress Me Perfect comes in a glass bottle that looks classy but is not travel friendly. It comes with a pump which is a big plus for me for any foundation. You can easily dispense as much quantity as you want.
My Experience, Deborah Milano Dress Me Perfect Foundation Review
Deborah Milano foundation is a liquid foundation. I was sent the shade 02 Beige and testers of shade Fair Rose. It is slightly lighter than my complexion but as foundations oxidize on my skin anyway so I it worked just fine for me. Although no. of shades available are low, the foundation blends into skin really well and matches the skin tone, so it shouldn’t be difficult for anybody to find their match!
I really liked the consistency of texture which is neither runny nor too thick giving you time to blend it well. The foundation goes on very smoothly on skin and blends quite easily. Though company claims it to be medium coverage, but I find it light to medium but buildable to medium. I could still see my acne scars and its redness.
The best thing about this foundation is that it’s very breathable. It’s true to its name and feels like second skin. It also has an SPF15. This makes it perfect for everyday wear. You can easily wear it to work as its staying power is good. It lasted 6-8 hours easily on my skin.
The finish is semi-dewy. It may not be suitable for girls who have very oily skin and want something mattyfying. I have combination skin and I do need to set it with powder. I also had to re-apply powder during the day to keep the shine at bay.
Here’s a picture where I had applied Deborah Milano Dress Me Perfect Foundation. I had applied one layer of 02 Beige and a second layer of Fair Rose.
A quick tip: if you have yellow undertones, mix a drop of foundation with pink undertone, it will immediately brighten your complexion (vice versa for pink undertones) 😉
I was really happy with this foundation as I like sheer and breathable foundation that blends easily and this one fits the bill perfectly. But if you are looking for a full or heavy coverage foundation, you should probably not invest in it.
Have you tried this foundation? How was your experience? Let me know!
Note: I was sent a sample by PR agency but all the views are my own.
