Printed shrug with jeans

Hello everyone!
How’s your week going? Mine is pretty busy getting household chores done with in-laws being away from home. On top of that, there was water problem in Delhi; you get the drill…right? One feels how much work needs to be done at home only after parents are not there.

Today I wanted to share with you all a simple hack to make routine wear look a little extra! I like creating looks that are multipurpose and can be worn easily without thinking twice. It should make a statement but not stand out 😉 Whenever you want to look stylish and willing to go that extra mile…just wear a long printed shrug. It instantly adds an x-factor to a simple jeans top or even a plain dress or skirt.

This is also a great way to turn around your work outfit to dinner date outfit in a jiffy. Many celebrities take this route especially when they are travelling. Prints add a fun element and enhance an outfit. But make sure to pair it with plain top and pants so that it can stand out more. Length of shrug is also important. It must be long enough to be below your knees to look chic. Short shrugs usually look more college casual but long ones look stylish. It makes one look thinner and taller, which is always a bonus for me 😛

My look with printed shrug

I created my look with my most favorite color combination white and blue with hints of red 😀 As my shrug is colorful, I picked the subtle colors for top and pants to keep the focus on it. Adding glimpses of a bright color (such as red and neons) through shoes and bag is like a surprise touch to the outfit.
