Alia Bhatt’s Shaandaar Looks!

Hi!

How did you spend your weekend? I had a different kinda weekend this time as Hubby was travelling for work and I was all alone at house. Being alone made me realize I had grown up a bit. It was a just a year ago, when I would break into tears due to the fear of being alone. But this time around I was stronger and found some fun in these moments!

A part of the work I did this weekend is here for you to see! 🙂 And my readers are my best judge…So do read on!

As I have also written earlier, Celebrity dressing is the best way to learn some fashion i.e. what is trendy and what looks good. After my first post on Sonam Kapoor (read here), I am here with Alia Bhatt’s fashion choices. I have narrowed down the best picks to her promotion for her latest flick called ‘Shaandaar’. She has never been known as a Fahionista, but her quirky style statement is what works best for her. She is sexy in her own way. She looks young, confident and fashion is synonymous to fun for her.

Here’s my top 10 picks from her ensembles Alia Bhatt was spotted in during ‘Shaandaar’ Promotions:

1. A Short Comic Dress

Alia look 1

I actually called Alia Bhatt a stunner when I saw this one! She wore a short printed dress for her movie Promotions on the sets of the dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja”. The ‘Scuba and Glitter Starship’ print ASOS dress was novel in its own way. It looked super cute and Alia as always kept it simple with black ankle strap sandals from Pheddies and sleek loose hair. This was chic!

2. Asymmetrical Jacket

Alia Look 2

I loved this off-white Asymmetrical jacket from Vizyon. The hairdo by Ayesha DeVitre with many braids was simple yet stylish. She paired it with darker blue ripped denim and nude pointed pumps. This one is a minimal make-up look which makes is one of my favorites! This one is edgy as this jacket can be teamed up in a way to give it both western and ethnic feel.

3. Ethnic look

Look 3

I loved what she wore for the garba dance festival this Navratri which fell at the time of her ‘Shaandaar’ Promotions. She wore ethnic this time. An off-white Patiala suit in thread work by Reynu Tandon paired with nude pumps and make-up by Vardan Nayak get a big thumbs up from my side.

4. Too Casual look

Look 4 Alia Bhatt

Alia looks simple and pretty in her promotion event with a toothpaste brand. She wore a loose white t-shirt with a read lip print (customized by Ami Patel), and an ankle length blue ripped Zara denims. Her red lips and red pointed pumps (again Zara) added the oomph factor to the otherwise simple outfit. She spent a minimum time with the beauty artist as only kajal and gloss seemed to be used and hair was simply half-tied.

5. Vintage Look

Look 5 Alia

Alia wore a Chicwish tee-length dress which had a British telephone booth pint on it. The black and white stripes on the top complemented with the printed skirt portion of the dress. The subtle make-up, loose blow-dry-eyed hair, elegant black ear lobes and black pointed pumps added to her graceful look.

6. Quirky Look

Look 6

Alia was spotted in ILK for the launch of a song for the movie ‘Shaandaar’. The dungarees looked digital friendly. The outfit was rare and made it appear that Alia was having all the fun! ‘Error 508’ print, plaid shirt, metallic sneakers all reiterated her carefree attitude and style.

7. Military Print

Look 7

Another one that was purely casual! This dress from ‘Diesel’ is really to-die for. It is my kinda dress! Alia kept it simple with coral lips, pointed black pumps and loose hair. The camouflage print never goes out of trend and looks super cool and chic.

8.In Ethnic for Graba

Look 8

Alia Bhatt wore this Indo-western attire by Tisha Saksena for the movie promotion at a Garba night. The off-white tunic has a raw silk yoke with gold zardozi and mirror detailing and the Georgette drape. Alia completed her look with peal ear-rings, gold heels and a French plait on the side. You can wear such an outfit for festivities, card parties, side-functions to a wedding or a cocktail. The dress is elegant and light to carry. Click here to buy similar dresses by Tisha Saksena.

9. Matchy Set

Look 9 Alia

Now in this one, Alia’s footwear is a highlight. I loved her T-bar Pom Pom heeled shoes in black and grey. This footwear from Daisy Street has a suede upper and pointed toe, perfectly complemented her crop-top and skirt matching set. She wore the Dragonfly print Jacquard skirt and crop-top by A.W.A.K.E for her promotional event.

10. White on White

Look 10

This look is a bit unusual to give a try, but is a “never go wrong approach”. Alia had the grace and figure to carry it off brilliantly. She wore a full-sleeved collared white shirt and white slim fit pants from Mes Dames and paired it with light brown t-strap sandals. She also carried a badge in bold colors that read ‘Boom’. She looked absolutely adorable!

To conclude I can say that Alia has become a fashion diva and her outfits are worth a mention! I however hope that I love ‘Shaandaar’ as much as I loved Alia’s dressing style for its promotions 😉 I am super excited to watch it mid-week. Do let us know which of Alia’s looks is your favorite? How did you find the movie? Do write in the comments sections below! 🙂
