From the tropical lands of Brazil: BVLGARI Omnia Paraiba
Hello everyone! It’s been a while that I reviewed something on the blog, blame my bad skin! But I have a lot of new products on my table so you can expect more reviews in coming weeks 🙂 Today I am going to review the latest in BVLGARI Omnia collection – BVLGARI Omnia Paraiba.
Omnia Paraiba is inspired by one of the most unique gems on the earth: the radiant Paraiba Tourmaline of Brazil. This Eau de Toilette is a luscious creation, intertwining the freshness of bigarade oranges with the exuberant passion flower.
Master perfumer: Alberro Morillas
Price of BVLGARI OMNIA PARAIBA EDT – INR 3300 (40ml) and INR 4250 (65ml)
Packaging of this EDT is similar to the packaging of BVLGARI Omnia collection. It has a glass bottle with a sliver and plastic cap. the bottle and cap are intertwined for a classic sculpted design. The design of Omnia is inspired by the infinity loop. The color of Paraiba collection is a beautiful blue green shade inspired from one of the rare gems found in Brazil, Paraiba Tourmaline. The bottle is sturdy and cap fits tightly. It looks beautiful on the dressing table as well 🙂
The fragrance of Omnia Paraiba is essentially fruity-floral and woody. It smells exotic and is true to the tropics scents from which it is inspired. Head notes comprise of Curaçao Bigarade with the juicy and tangy flesh of the Maracuja passion fruit. The heart of the scent however, lies in passion flower which gives it exotic fruity floral tones. Base notes are rooted in powdery accents of the Cocoa Bean.
It reminds you of beachy holidays and is perfect for summers. If I have to describe it in one word, it would be fresh. Because of the mix of floral and woody scents with strong citrus opening notes, it is appropriate for all ages. The smell is beautiful, clean, and subtle. It is definitely different from the other perfumes that I own and it is this distinctiveness that is appealing to me.
As far as longevity goes, it stays well on me for at least 4-5 hours, which I consider good for an Eau de Toilette. After that it fades away and I have to re-apply. I typically spray it on my pulse points such as wrists, hollow of my neck, side of my ears and behind my knees.
All in all, I really like this EDT. It’s perfect for everyday wear and since it’s subtle, it is suitable for work wear as well. The only con however, is that it’s on the pricier side for an EDT.
